SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Empowering Young Minds for a Better Future

By supporting students and emerging talent, we foster fresh ideas and new perspectives, creating opportunities for the next generation of designers, innovators, and creative thinkers.

At Elihome, sustainability is not only about the products we create, but also about the people who will shape the future.
We believe that investing in young talent means investing in new ideas, perspectives, and solutions for tomorrow.

By supporting students, emerging designers, and young professionals, we aim to foster a new generation of creative and socially responsible leaders.

Our Young Talent Program is an integral part of our sustainability strategy. It is designed to engage talented students from diverse cultural and academic backgrounds, offering them opportunities to develop their skills and contribute to meaningful projects.

Through our Milan-based Design and Innovation Center, young designers actively participate in real-world projects, bringing fresh perspectives and creative ideas into our work. Through hands-on experiences and collaborations, we support their academic and professional growth, nurturing the next generation of designers, marketers, and innovators who will help shape a more responsible future.

In partnership with NABA, one of Italy’s leading design schools, Communication Design master’s students collaborated with our team to co-create a new campaign for the Elihome brand.

During his visit from the US, Michael Ge explored Piero Castiglioni’s studio in Milan, discovering Italian design perspectives, material explorations and creative inspiration rooted in the city’s design culture.

Through visual research and cultural exploration, our team investigates the colours, forms, materials and traditions, uncovering fresh perspectives to inform our creative approach and product storytelling.

Bridging Academia
and Industry

We collaborate with universities and academic institutions around the world, creating a network that connects academic research with real-world innovation. These partnerships allow us to access diverse talent pools and cutting-edge thinking while providing students with valuable opportunities to gain industry experience.

Our close connection with Italian universities is particularly meaningful. Italy’s strong tradition in design, engineering, and creativity enriches our global perspective and helps inspire innovative approaches across our projects.

A Hub for
Emerging Ideas

Through initiatives like Constella, our innovation hub in Milan, we collaborate with emerging designers and creative talents from around the world.

Constella represents a constellation of ideas, people, and projects that come together to drive innovation, creativity, and international collaboration. Located in Milan, a global center for design and culture, it connects young talent with real opportunities to contribute to product development, research, and brand building.

By bringing together students, designers, and professionals, Constella acts as a platform where fresh ideas can grow and evolve into meaningful innovations.

YOUNG IDEAS, REAL POSSIBILITIES

When Young Ideas Are Taken Seriously

At Elihome, we believe supporting the next generation begins with something simple: listening.

Growing up in Irvine, California, Michael Ge often visited In-N-Out Burger with his father. Inspired by its iconic Double-Double burger, he once asked:

"If a burger can be double-double, why can't a cutting board?"

Michael imagined a board with functional juice grooves on both sides — a simple idea that opened the door to a much bigger design challenge.

Instead of letting the idea end there, his father brought it to Elihome's Milan design team, giving Michael's curiosity the opportunity to grow into a real design project.

It's a reminder of what we believe: young people don't have to wait until they're older to contribute meaningful ideas. Sometimes, all they need is someone willing to listen.
